The Winding River Corral is an ala carte service offered to the Community residents requiring space to store items such as utility trailers, boats/trailers, automobiles/trucks, recreational vehicles, travel trailers and motorhomes. The low storage rates, plus the location being close to the resident’s homes, make this facility a real asset to the homeowners of Winding River.
The Corral is managed and maintained by a group of resident volunteers listed in the Winding River Website. Please contact any member of this Committee with questions or concerns, they are always happy to accommodate.
Apply for a space
In order to apply for a space in the corral you need to have the items you want to store ready to go, no reserving a space for future use. You will also need digital scans or pictures of your proof-of-ownership documents ready to upload. When you are ready, there are two steps:
- First, please select the “Apply” option. You will be asked for your personal information and information concerning the item(s) to be stored in the Corral. It is mandatory to submit proof-of-ownership of your items to be stored, such as registrations or bill-of-sale receipts. These proof of ownership documents can be uploaded as part of filling in the application.
- Next, you will be prompted to read and accept the “Release of Liability and Agreement” form, along with the “Corral Rules and Regulations” Form. We cannot accommodate your request for a space unless you agree to the release agreement.
You will receive an email copy of both your application and release after you complete these two steps.
If the Corral is full at the time of your application request, you will be placed on a waiting list and you will be notified. When your application is accepted, the Corral calendar year fee of $175 must be paid to the POA Office before placement of the stored item in the Corral. This fee is nonrefundable and will not be prorated if the space is relinquished. After the fee is paid, your access to the Corral will be activated, followed by a Corral Committee Member meeting you at the Corral with decals to be placed on each stored item. The Committee Member will direct you to your new space and be available to answer all of your questions concerning the Corral.
Once you have submitted your application, please read the Corral and River House and Marinas rules and accept our Release of Liability.
Make changes to your space
If you wish to make any changes to your Corral space information, including relinquishing your space, please select the “Make Changes” button.
If you wish to relinquish your space, just select that option. This will enable us to immediately give another resident access to the vacated space. The calendar year fee is not refundable for midyear departures from the Corral.
To make any other changes, describe your intended change briefly and fill in any new data that we will need. New decals will be issued for any new item(s) to be stored. It is important to submit proof of ownership, such as registrations or bill-of-sale receipts with new items.
Your request will be sent to the committee as soon as you click submit and we will get back to you straight away.
